12-year-old scout Bimo chases his mischievous squirrel friend Pai and awakens TankDog, a rusting war machine crowned with a canine head. Despite Pai’s mistrust, Bimo befriends the gentle giant, igniting playful forest escapades. But a single rubber-bullet “shot” plunges TankDog into traumatic wartime memories, triggering a destructive rampage that traps Pai beneath a fallen branch.
