Dag Vag – Alltmedan stjärnorna föds och dör
Dag Vag was formed in the late 1970s. It all began when frontman Stig Vig was given a guitar to play in his prison cell, and before long, the band took Sweden by storm. This film traces the band's journey from start to finish through unique footage and clips from a bygone era. Friends and colleagues share their insights into the band's significance and musical evolution—including their legendary tour with Ebba Grön—featuring appearances by Joakim Thåström, the band members, and others.

The exceptional cast – featuring Italian baritone Davide Luciano (Don Giovanni), Russian soprano Nadezhda Pavlova (Donna Anna) and Finnish bass Mika Kares (the Commendatore) – is accompanied by the chorus and musicians of the musicAeterna ensemble, conducted by Vitaly Polonsky and Teodor Currentzis.
