Orquestra Geração

Encandilan luces
"Chipadelia", "The poor man's Pink Floyd", "psychedelic space chamamé"... Dazzle Lights demands a certain amount of creativity from Dick el Demasiado, Alan Courtis and other music journalists as they seek to describe the indescribable Síquicos Litoraleños. Alejandro Gallo Bermúdez never tries to profile the members of the band from Curuzú Cuatiá; the director appears to respect the privacy of a group that keeps its distance with different outfits and an ongoing quest to alter perceptions. The documentary shifts between the cultural shockwaves made by the group from Corrientes at home and at European festivals and the unintended creation of a rural psychedelic scene at the North-East of Argentina, as well as an unexpected clash with the Curuzú Cuatiá native Cristian Osorio, found of the now defunct group Saltimbankis.
Taranto
A steel mill about to close divides a city in southern Italy. The conflict between environmentalism and labor is posed in apparently unsolvable terms. The director embarks on a contemporary drama with expositive clarity, power and good faith—history is also written in the present tense.

Seré millones
In January 1972, during General Lanusse's dictatorship in Argentina, a group of revolutionary activists occupied the National Development Bank, just meters from the Government House, expropriating 450 million pesos (approximately 10 million dollars today) for their cause. This was made possible by Oscar Serrano and Ángel Abus—activists and bank employees—who spent two years preparing what would become the biggest blow to the dictatorship's finances. Forty years later, Oscar and Ángel, along with a group of actors, recreate those events that changed their lives. In this dialogue between generations, the young people transform their perspective on activism and commitment during those years. Narrated through several cinematic layers, Seré Millones (I Will Be Millions) offers an innovative story that blends humor, rigorous historical research, and the epic spirit of the era.
Salvation
Sutera (lat. soter = savior, to save) is a sleepy, ancient village of 800 inhabitants in the heart of Sicily, located under a mountain. In the past four decades it has lost 90% of its population. In the last years, Sicily experienced the brunt of the refugee wave coming across the Mediterranean, trying to get to the European shores. Following a marine tragedy in 2013, the inhabitants of Sutera opened the doors of the empty houses for the migrants. The main piazza was buzzing again with life but soon the migrants faced unemployment and a lack of job opportunities. A story of migration as economic choice vs. migration as a desperate act of last resort.
